Part Time Courses

The National Council for Drama Training does not accredit part-time courses.
It only accredits full time vocational drama courses (see accredited course list) which the industry endorses as the best method of entry into the acting profession.

However, many of the schools which run full time NCDT accredited courses also offer part-time / evening or short courses.  People completing these courses may go on to full time training in order to enter the profession.  The courses are aimed at a variety of age groups and cover a range of areas such as Youth theatre, Access courses, Community Development, foundation level acting programmes, short courses in communication skills, Saturday and Summer schools.

The Conference of Drama Schools www.drama.ac.uk publishes the Official Guide to Vocational Courses for Drama and Technical Theatre which lists many part time courses offered by member drama schools.
