The Auditions Code of Practice governs the conduct of auditions and interviews at schools offering Dance and Drama Awards (‘the Code’) and is designed to provide a framework within which vocational schools offering training in dance and drama, audition and interview potential students. It assists schools in ensuring that their policies and procedures for interviewing and auditioning students are transparent, robust and fair. It also allows for a formal mechanism for appeals to protect the schools as well as allowing students a formal method of challenging the allocation process.
