By registering with, using or visiting the Site (this term covers ncdt.co.uk), you agree to these terms and conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (which is incorporated into the Terms). If you do not agree to the Terms or Privacy Policy, please do not use or register with the Site.

The Site is owned and operated by The National Council For Drama Training (“we”, “us” and “NCDT”). Please read the Terms (and the other terms set out below) carefully as they set out your rights and obligations and the terms on which NCDT makes the membership available to you. They also provide information on how you can submit material and how this will be used.

1.1 Acceptance of Terms and Conditions Welcome to www.ncdt.co.uk (this Website). This Website is owned and operated by The National Council For Drama Training. References to we, us, our and ‘NCDT’. Your use of this Website and services is at all times subject to these Terms and Conditions (which forms a legally binding contract between you and us) and all applicable laws. By accessing this mailing list or using services which are provided through the membership of NCDT, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


2. JOINING US - MINIMUM CRITERIA
2.1 To become a Member of NCDT,
- you must be at least 18 years of age. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to join NCDT;
- you must live in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland); and
2.2 You must have completed or in the process of completing an NCDT accredited course, which is listed on our website.


3. MEMBERSHIP OF AND SUBSCRIPTION TO NCDT
3.1 Provided that you meet the Minimum Criteria (see clause 2 (Joining Us - Minimum Criteria) above), you may register as a registered user of this mailing list  free of charge (a Member). To become a Member you need to go to the relevant section of this Website, and then submit your email address to NCDT and relevant personal details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for restricting access to your computer.

4. Individuals’ rights
We will ensure that individuals are given their rights under the Act including:

4.1 the right to obtain their personal information from us except in limited circumstances
4.2 the right to ask us not to process personal data where it causes substantial unwarranted damage to them or anyone else


5. No commercial disposal to third parties


6.1 NCDT shall not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make user data commercially available to any third party, except as described above or with your prior permission.

6. Our commitment to data protection
We will ensure that:
-    everyone managing and handling personal information understands that they are responsible for following good data protection practice
-    there is someone with specific responsibility for data protection in the organization
-    staff who handle personal information are appropriately supervised and trained
-    queries about handling personal information are promptly and courteously dealt with
                people know how to access their own personal information
-    methods of handling personal information are regularly assessed and evaluated
-    any disclosure of personal data will be in compliance with approved procedures.
-    we take all necessary steps to ensure that personal data is kept secure at all times against unauthorised or unlawful loss or disclosure
-    all contractors who are users of personal information supplied by the NCDT will be required to confirm that they will abide by the requirements of the Act with regard to information supplied by us. 

Applicable Law

Your use of this Website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising from or in connection with your use of this Website or your use of services are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
